Nylon66 Fel-Pro gaskets

These gaskets went into a 2001 Bonneville 3.8 SII to replace a set of Nylon66 Fel-Pro gaskets that were installed previously. They were not leaking yet(Everyone knows with this material they will though), these were installed as preventative maintenance. These gaskets perform just fine so far and are much more robust then the original Nylon66 design(s). I don't expect to have to ever replace these again --or at least, for a very long time. They are very heavy, stiff and feel and appear very well made. One thing I am a little unhappy with is the beads around the intake and coolant ports are about the same size and coverage as the old Nylon66 designs. I was hoping to see beefier silicon seals around the ports but they are still skinny seals. Granted, the seals have never really been an issue in the past, the Nylon carrier has always cracked and since that is fixed with these gaskets I expect them to last a long time.
I gave these gaskets a four-star rating because Fel-Pro's version of the same gaskets (Aluminum carrier) have MUCH thicker seals around the ports. In fact on the Fel-Pro version, coolant doesn't even come in contact with the carrier unlike these ones. I would have also liked to see new LIM to tensioner coolant elbow o-rings included.

Aside from what I listed above these seem like very good gaskets that should, once installed correctly, stop any LIM leakage issues for a long, long time to come. I am much happier to be running with this set over any Nylon material gasket.
